JUVÉDERM ULTRA 3
Juvéderm™ ULTRA™ contains a biocompatible hyaluronic acid which is an injectable filler and gives a very natural result.
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural substance found in the human body.
Its most important properties to keep the skin hydrated (can you say moisture-saturated? or is hydrated in Swedish?) and at the same time give it fullness.
HA is naturally broken down in the body during metabolism and replaced. But as we get older and the metabolism slows, the replacement of HA decreases resulting in drier skin with less plumpness.
Doctors use HA in the treatment of arthritis and during eye surgery.
